General complaints procedure
Introduction.
This page details what you need to do to make a complaint against a member of the SNL Clan. There are a number of situations when this would be appropriate:

ï A clan member has been acting in an abusive manner on any game server.
ï A clan member has been using wall hacks, aimbots or any other method   generally considered to be cheating on any game server.
ï A clan referee has been abusing their referee status on SNL servers in a   way that is contrary to the clan rules.

This document does not deal with any situation outside of computer gaming environments, and does not deal with member conduct during scrims or any other arranged clan match.

This clan is committed to providing a tolerant, safe and friendly environment on our servers enabling all people to have an enjoyable gaming experience with SNL.

Our website gives details of the rules we enforce on our servers and the consequences associated with abusing them. You can find the SNL! Clan server rules here: rules.

These rules form the backbone of what we believe to be the best way to achieve an enjoyable gaming experience and are something that all clan members agree to abide by when they join the clan. The reputation of any clan is fundamental to a clanís ongoing success and so we take accusations against clan members for the situations detailed above very seriously.

How to make a complaint.
1. Before you start, carefully consider what evidence you are going to present to support your complaint.

2. We do not consider complaints that are completely indefensible.

3. We generally do not consider anonymous complaints unless there are exceptional circumstances.

4. The following is a non-exhaustive list of good evidence:

   a. Game demo containing the situation surrounding the complaint.
   b. Server logs from recognised and trusted game servers.
   c. Eye witness statements (we cannot, however, accept anonymous witness       statements).

5. Once your evidence is complete please e-mail all your details to complaints_procedure@snl-clan.com. It is generally advisable to include some form of contact details so that we can contact you if necessary for further information.

In such circumstances your complaint will be dealt with in complete confidence and will only be disclosed to those people absolutely required to resolve the issue.
